'Horned Beast' Antelope ESCAPES from Brit Zoo – Police Issue 'Danger to Public Warning

The female mountain-dwelling West Caucasian tur broke free from Paignton Zoo earlier today.
Cops and zoological workers are hunting for the "horned beast".
Staff have warned the animal is probably "pretty stressed" and should not be approached by members of public.
It is reported the creature cleared a fence, left a quarry area and headed into nearby woodland.
It is believe the animal is in Clennan Woods at Goodrington behind the zoo in south Devon after it was spotted by zookeepers.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "As you can see, it is a horned beast and could be a danger to the public if startled. "If you see the tur, please make no efforts to corner it and call the police immediately."
Paignton Zoo spokesman Phil Knowling said: "Our main concern now is that the animal is safe and well, that we locate her and get her back into familiar territory with the rest of the herd.
"She is probably pretty stressed. We are hoping that a police drone with thermal imaging technology can help."
The natural habitat is the Caucaus Mountains range in West Asia.
West Caucasian turs live in rough mountainous terrain about 13,100ft above sea level where they mainly eat grasses and leaves.
They can stand up to 3ft tall and weigh 143lbs.
They are listed as an endangered species with their population numbering only 6,000 individuals.
