Né le 8 juillet 1972 à Fleurance (Gers), est un historien, écrivain et homme politique français, membre du Mouvement des progressistes.
Professeur agrégé d'éducation physique et sportive, également docteur en histoire, il a été membre associé du Conseil économique, social et environnemental (CESE), section emploi et travail, de décembre 2015 au 18 juin 2017, date à laquelle il est élu député de la dixième circonscription de la Haute-Garonne. Président du groupe d’amitié France-Québec à l'Assemblée nationale, il est aussi membre de l'Assemblée parlementaire de la francophonie.
