Iskra Krstić

Independent researcher, born and living in Belgrade, active in the ex-Yugoslav space. Works in the field of critical urban studies. Also works as a journalist at masina.rs and as an activist (Right to Water Initiative; Solidarity political platform). She is interested in spatial (in)justice. From housing policies in Yugoslavia, urban development in the post-soc region and housing movements, her focus has shifted to the environmental movement in the Balkans and the critique of extractivism and neo-colonialism.
